Working principle of expansion valve (throttle valve):
Expansion valve (throttle valve) is a device in refrigeration system to control refrigerant flow by changing throttle section or throttle length. It is usually installed between evaporator and liquid storage tank. The expansion valve (throttle valve) throttles the medium temperature and high pressure liquid refrigerant into low temperature and low pressure wet steam, and then the refrigerant absorbs heat in the evaporator to achieve the refrigeration effect. The expansion valve (throttle valve) controls the valve flow by changing the superheat at the end of the evaporator to prevent the evaporator from underusing the area and hitting the cylinder.
Working principle of compressor:
Compressor (also known as "steam pump") is a driving fluid mechanical device that can lift low-pressure gas into high-pressure gas. It is the heart of refrigeration system and heat pump. It sucks low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas from the suction pipe, drives the piston to compress it through the operation of the motor, and then discharges the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas into the exhaust pipe to provide power for the refrigeration cycle, so as to realize the refrigeration cycle of compression → condensation (exothermic) → expansion → evaporation (endothermic).
